The Bowden Public Library is regulated by both Provincial statute law, (namely the Libraries Act and the Libraries Regulation) and municipal bylaw.
The Bowden Public Library is, through Intermunicipal Agreement, a member of the Parkland Regional Library Board, which provides a uniform standard of library services throughout the region.
These regional library services are conducted and delivered in accordance with policy directives set out by the Public Library Board Plan of Service and the Parkland Regional Library Board.
The Bowden Public Library Board oversees the daily operational management and control of the Town library including service levels, resources, staffing, fees, and opening times.
